Bonnie Kagan began her career in the art business working for a prominent art gallery in Toronto. In 1984 Ms. Kagan launched the Kagan Gallery Inc. in a spacious loft, specializing in contemporary artists, and with an emphasis on large-format works.
The Art Gallery represented and exhibited many artists, and built extensive collections for corporate clients including Suncor, Merrill Lynch, and JP Morgan Bank as well as many private collections.

Importantly, Ms. Kagan holds Certificates of achievement for completing the course, “Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice”, (USPAP) since 2002 and keeps her certification current by taking the bi-annual USPAP updates as well as holding membership in Appraiser’s Association of America and the American Society of Appraiser candidate.
